You can study at all levels from primary and secondary education to vocational/technical education and training (VET), from English courses to higher education (even at universities) you can take a bachelor’s degree or take a short course while working or visiting the country .
This includes the law on educational services for foreign students of the year 2000 (ESOS) and the National Professional Code. These laws provide nationally consistent standards for providers of education and training services for international students.
As an international student on a visa/student visa, you must study at an institution and take a course that are registered on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS).
Registration with CRICOS ensures that the course and institution meet the high standards expected by international students.
